"The Wonder of Wyngate"

Much like other established areas in Buckhead, the Wyngate Community is both scenic and sophisticated. The high-end homes are architecturally beautiful, while plush trees and shrubs add to the visual aesthetics of traversing streets and common grounds. Wyngate is easily accessible from Northside Drive and Wesley Road, and nestled alongside other incredibly impressive neighborhoods including Arden/Habersham, Peachtree Heights and Haynes Manor.

Residents of Wyngate are served by many notable schools, both public and private, including North Atlanta High School, The Heiskell School, Christ the King School, Morris Brandon Elementary School, The Westminster School, Pace Academy, Atlanta Girls School, Sutton Middle School, Atlanta International School and the Portfolio Center—all within a five-mile radius of the Wyngate Community.

Culture and entertainment are not lost on the prestigious community of Wyngate. Situated near a thriving business district, bustling retails and celebrated restaurants, finding the right shopping and entertainment is an effortless pursuit. One area attraction within walking distance is the Atlanta History Center whose campus houses the Centennial Olympic Games Museum, Swan House and Kenan Research Center, along with six historic gardens. The Atlanta History Center also offers programs for toddlers to teens, as well as adults, which include annual festivals, music series and summer camps.

The Wyngate Community is ideal for progressive singles and families who enjoy a lifestyle of comfort, convenience and culture.

"Nice established neighborhood"

The Wyngate neighborhood in Atlanta (not to be confused with West Wyngate, GA) is quietly tucked away, but it is still relatively close for accessing the city. It’s only about 6 minutes from Buckhead, and about 12 minutes from Midtown. The area is home to several nice parks including Woodward Way Park and Sibley Park. One of the most beautiful things about this neighborhood is that there are lots of beautiful old shade trees. This is extremely refreshing if you choose to take a mid-afternoon jog or go biking, because you won’t have to worry about being scorched in the summer time.

This area might be a great option for families, because it has plenty of lovely established homes with larger yards for kids to play in. The pricing range can get a little expensive because there are some mini-mansions along the way. By expensive, I mean well over the 1 million dollar marker. I suppose in theory, that isn’t too bad... considering this area is practically an extension of Buckhead. In addition, Wyngate has quick access to several Buckhead prestigious schools to choose from, to help get your little one off on the right start. Christ the King School and the Atlanta International School are two excellent choices (to name a few), if you are looking for quality private school education that is just minutes away. Over all, this is a nice area to check out.

"Some would Consider Better than Average"

The neighborhood of Wyngate in Atlanta, by some standards, would be considered better than average. However, that assessment is all relative. There are some benefits to residing in the Wyngate community such as the fact that there are two parks, West Wesley and Sibley park within the community. Another feature that some may consider enticing is the fact that the Peachtree Shopping Center is located close by. Others would even determine the fact that there is access to a few dominant thoroughfares as an advantage to living in the Wyngate community.

However, others would consider the fact that outside of Peachtree Shopping Center (which in and of itself is not necessarily notable or known for its high end and fashionable retail shopping) residents of Wyngate are somewhat detached from some of the most important things that make Atlanta great like downtown, fine dining establishments, day and night entertainment, culture and the arts. Others would also consider that although the neighborhood is located to some main thoroughfares, they are not major interstates and connective links that connect the city to the suburbs.

With that being said, for some, Wyngate could be or could not be considered better than average.
