In order to answer this I have to incorporate Wicker Park - as a lot of West Town blends over to Wicker Park. So here is my top 10 in no particular order:

1. Visit a vegetarian restaurant: MANA Food Bar, Handlebar, Earwax, or Green Zebra
2. Adventure Stage - dynamic theater for young audiences
3. Double Door - one of top live music venues in Chicago (must be 21 or older)
3. Former Home of Nelson Algren - 20th century author
4. Wicker Park Shopping District
5. Pulaski Park
6. The Polish Museum of America
7. West Hubbard Street Murals
8. Smith (Joseph Higgins) Park - this park has a WWII tank and artillery piece displayed
9. Chopin Theatre
10. Redmoon Theater

If you are a dog lover and happen to have your furry friend with you there is a wonderful Dog Park on the southeast corner of Wicker Park right near the intersection of Wicker Park Avenue and Schiller Street.
