"Beautiful parkway through Eden Park"

Victory Parkway is a gorgeous scenic parkway that runs through Walnut Hills, East Walnut Hills and Evanston. I love walking my dog on Victory Parkway and going to the park. It's always full of walkers, runners and cyclists. The street is also home to the Edgecliff Campus which is part of UC now. You can take the parkway from Eden Park to Xavier University. It's a pleasure to drive through every day. The scenic parkways are national treasures.

  • Mature treelined street

"Location, Location, Location"

Walnut Hills is the home of Eden Park, arguably Cincinnati's best park. The neighborhood has some of the best views in the city and many historic homes. The business district is up and coming. There are some really great places to eat in Walnut Hills (Le Bar a Boeuf, Fireside Pizza, Just Q'uin, Gomez Salsa, The Brew House). There are always lots of people out walking, running and biking and it is a very friendly neighborhood. It's 4 minutes to downtown and 12 minutes to the airport. Easy access to other East side neighborhoods too.

There is a wide array of housing, everything from high rise and courtyard condos, mansions, cottages and plenty of apartments too. Easy to get to the interstate 71, 75 or Columbia Parkway. Walnut Hills recently lost it's grocery store but its minutes away from Kroger Newport or Whole Foods in Rookwood.

There is currently a lot of new development happening and new businesses opening regularly. The development has been done in a responsible way, mostly restoring wonderful old buildings. It's one of the most beautiful neighborhoods in the city.
Pros
  • Walkable to restaurants and cafes
  • River view condos
  • Variety of different types of housing
  • Beautiful properties
  • Central location
  • Rich in history

  • Pockets of trendy business

"Vibrant Walkable Neighborhood"

EWH has it all! Easy walking to two business districts (DeSales Corner and O'Bryonville) and Eden Park. The neighborhood is known for it's large trees and beautiful homes. It has a very diverse collection of homes and people. It has a nice mixture of mansions, starter homes, apartments and river view condominiums. It's 5 minutes from downtown and 12 minutes to the airport. Plenty of friendly people with a strong sense of community and a wonderful place to walk, bike or run. It's an urban forest with mature oaks everywhere and a bird sanctuary. We raised our family in this lovely community and stayed long after the kids left. We've lived in a couple of houses and a couple of condos. We are proud to call East Walnut Hills home.
Pros
  • Walkable to restaurants and cafes
  • Big beautiful trees
  • lots of river views
  • Central location
  • Gorgeous, opulent properties
