Yes. 24/7/365 going north/south on Western (bus), east/west on CTA blue line, and a weekday bus that will navigate you all the way to Streeterville downtown.

The Tri-Taylor neighborhood is pretty close to downtown, and as such it has above average public transportation options. From buses to trains, you've got plenty of different ways to get around.

Yes, you can get downtown in less than a half hour via the Green Line or one of several bus lines.
