"A road that desperately needs to be widened"

For anyone traveling down Tower Road at rush hour in the morning or evening, this road can be a mess. With the new development of Reunion just west of Pena Blvd. there are long waits and lines galore. This one lane road is unable to successfully accommodate the amount of travel it gets during different hours of the day. The increase of hotels on the road built to house travelers from Denver International Airport adds to the problem. Getting off of Pena Blvd. and onto Tower is also a mess. Long lines on the exit ramps can seem to take forever.

The road itself is home to many hotels, restaurants, diners, and stores. With the exception of clothing stores, travelers can find just about anything they need on this strip.

The neighborhoods off of Tower Road include Reunion to the north of Pena Blvd. and Green Valley Ranch to the south. Reunion is a very nice, fairly new neighborhood with gorgeous parks and a man made lake with a huge recreation center. A very nice area for families and professionals that want to be close to Denver International Airport.

Green Valley Ranch is a large development with small to medium sized homes. There is a great golf course here as well, but the area has changed over the last 10 years. What used to be a commuter community has now grown large and has some of the same problems as an area closer to downtown. The crime rate, which used to be nonexistent, has climbed and the demographics of the area have changed as well.

Both the Reunion and Green Valley Ranch neighborhoods have contributed greatly to the congestion of Tower Road. It's hard to believe with the planned growth that no one has yet addressed the only major artery going through this area.
Pros

"Historic yet new"

Tower Road has been around for as long as I can remember but there's never been much going on to bring you to it until lately. Within the last few years this street really as grown into a bustling community of shops and eatery’s. As the neighborhoods around this street have grown drastically over the last few years so has it's need for business. If your looking for a new community with new homes to move to you might come here and rest assure you wont be traveling far to get what you need. From grocery stores to stores that have it all such as super Wal-Mart’s you'll find it here. Fast food or fine dining, Car care or quickie marts as well as Dr. offices and much more. Tower Road has really grown. And it's proving to be an excellent place to grow a family.
