Thieriot Ave, Bruckner

Nice area, starting to get a bit rowdy in recent years. Very close to the Bruckner shopping area with big name apparel, toy and food stores. There are schools and parks in the area which is great for kids--the park on the corner of Story Ave was recently renovated. Still a decent area to live, but I have seen a couple cars broken into from time to time. It's the Bronx, so you have to be on guard anyway. No trains in the area though...gotta drive or take the bus (BX 36 on White Plains runs parallel so you can walk the 2 blocks over).
