The Bangerter Hwy (also called State Route 154) runs from Draper to the SLC airport and is a good way to go to avoid some of the heavier traffic that is downtown and along I15 and I80. While it is a good alternative to getting to the airport (especially for those college kids who are trying to get to and from BYU), it does not stretch across the entire valley, so you will still have to take I80 to get around the Point of the Mount.
