Southwest 136th St, Pinecrest

136 Street or Howard Drive runs on the border of Pinecrest Village and Palmetto Bay. Because there are higher taxes in these adjacent neighborhoods drivers should beware since there are plenty more cops with nothing better to do than set speed traps on this main road. Just on the West side of US1 there is The Falls, a family oriented outdoor shopping malls with about a hundred restaurants, franchises and boutique shops. On the other side of US1, Chapman Field lies not too far from the intersection of 136th Street and Old Cutler, where you can find several baseball diamonds to play on if the local little leagues.
