"Right in the Middle of It"

The neighborhood of Grove Park in Atlanta is right in the middle of the Donald Lee Hollowell community. Grove Park is located right at the juxtaposition of interstates 20, 85, and 285 so access to the major interstates is fantastic. Just 15 minutes and you can just about be anywhere in the city, stave traffic is cooperative. Midtown is in close proximity where residents can enjoy eclectic shops and local fan fare. Down town is right around the corner where nightlife, fine dining and better retail shopping are readily accessible. There are waterways and green spaces all within minutes of Grove Park.

Those are the things, places, sights, and activities you can find around Grove Park; with around being the key word. Within Grove Park itself are median to low income residences and apartment communities. There is some industrial development but nothing that brings in jobs or adds much to the community. There's great access to things, but the community itself is right in the middle of lacking a lot of amenities that would make it a desirable place to live.
Pros
  • Great access to several major interstates
  • access to public transportatton
  • access to local conveniences
Cons
  • Most activities, cultural events, nightlife rest outside the community
  • median to low income property with poor resale value
