"Inviting city limits"

What I love most about the city of Yorba Linda is that there are a variety of neighbor hoods to chose from and none of them would be a bad place to choose. During my time as a student at cal State Fullerton and working in the Placentia area I got to travel around Yorba Lind quite a bit. The city is very well maintained, clean, friendly and inviting. I know that the homes found here are not cheap so many of the families living in this city are well within the upper middle class and higher. The sense of safety is something that is hardly questionable because the neighborhoods all look safe. Freeway accessibility isn’t one of the city’s strong suite but the benefits of staying in a safe neighborhood would out way the convenience of being able to jump on a highway any day, at least for me. I don’t see Yorba Linda being a city to attractive for singles or young couples since the nightlife isn’t too prominent out here and schools aren’t to close by. Another nice city on my list of places to move too when I’m older however is Yorba Linda. I’m excited to see the day its possible.

"If You Love Horses, You will Love Yorba Linda"

Situated in the northeastern side of the Orange County, Yorba Linda is a very well-to-do community and also known as one of the richest cities in the United States. Being the birth place of Richard Nixon, the Richard Nixon Presidential Library and Museum is one of the most prominent spots in this city.

What set this city apart from the rest are their large lots for residential homes and their horse trails. Yorba Linda loves horses and therefore you would find plenty of ways to enjoy some equestrian fun in this city. Apart from their very well kept horse trails, you would also find three arenas that are top notch in quality. Residents and visitors can also enjoy the hiking and biking trails that line through this city.

In 2005, Yorba Linda was named the 21st best place to live in US by CNN. Yorba Linda is also known for their highly paid residents who earn six figure incomes as a norm. The median household income in this city is over $120,000.

The two commercial zoned regions in this city are the Savi Ranch and an office park. The Savi Ranch is home to many retail store of all nature. There are also many smaller shopping centers and thousands of businesses that contribute to the economic success of this region.

Children attend school under the Placentia-Yorba Linda Unified School District. Many schools within this district are the proud recipients of the California Distinguished School award. They also have their own brand new high school - The Yorba Linda High school was opened to students in fall 2009. Also a plan to construct a private high school has been underway since 2009.

Apart from the Richard Nixon Presidential Library and Museum, other points of interest in Yorba Linda are the Black Gold Golf Club, the Susanna Bixby Ranch House and Museum and the Yorba Linda Spotlight Theater.

"Perfect if you want to belong to the community you live in!"

Yorba Linda is definitely the white picket fence area of Orange County. Every one who lives here knows each other and their business (sometimes that is good; sometimes that is bad). It is a clean, green city with lots of parks and recreational areas. Not a lot of bars, though. In fact, the only bar in Yorba Linda is The Canyon Inn, a local favorite, that some how got grandfathered in.

Most people that live in Yorba Linda have money, but, the nice thing about this city is, no one really flaunts it. Yes, they all drive very expensive SUVs and live in large houses, but, they all seem pretty down to earth.

For entertainment, unless you are attending a bbq or pool party at someone’s house, you will have to venture outside the walls of Yorba Linda as the city consists mostly of houses. That is ok, though, as nearby Placentia, Anaheim Hills and Anaheim offer plenty of shopping and entertainment options. There is one movie theater in Yorba Linda right off Imperial that is great to go to if you want to check out a movie at a discounted rate, but, get there early as the showings cell out fast. And if you want to satisfy your sweet tooth craving before hand, you can hit up Golden Spoon (same parking lot) or Cold Stone (across the street), but, these places are always packed, so, be prepared to wait!
