Ruxton Ave, Manitou Springs

Ruxton Avenue leads off the main street of Manitou Ave, past shops, galleries and restaurants. After passing the Mountain Man and other area favorites, the street will curve past Kelley Glass Studio - a great local gallery featuring local art and handmade beads. You will pass through a residential area before coming to the turn-off for Miramont Castle, a local attraction which started as a home and later became a treatment center for tuberculosis patients. Keep on Ruxton and you find the Cog Railway Depot which will take you up Pike Peak Mountain on a scenic (though pricey) trip.
