"Family Neighborhood with Excellent Access"

Ridge Chase is the main street of the Shavano Bend neighborhood. It is located very near the northwest edge of the San Antonio city limits, just off IH-10 and Dezavala Road. Shavano Bend is a family development of only 44 houses, developed by Centex Homes, a reputable builder. Most of the houses are two-story, in the range of 2600-3400 sq. ft. There are several smaller one-story houses, better for retirees or young couples without kids. The houses sell for about $75 per sq. ft. The neighborhood is tucked away between a larger, similar neighborhood and a greenbelt. It is a relatively quiet neighborhood, but has numerous shopping venues of all kinds within a five mile radius. The local elementary school and the high school are within walking distance, and the middle school is about three miles away. The neighborhood is gated and overall a great neighborhood for nearly anyone, the only minor drawbacks being train tracks on the opposite side of the greenbelt (which have a silent crossing), a limestone quarry about a mile behind the back of the neighborhood, and traffic along Dezavala Road, the main road just outside.
