La Renaissance offers a really unique dining experience. The restaurant is located in an old church off of Evans Ave. in historic Bessemer. They offer five course dinners, as well as individual entrees, with everything from lamb and sirloin steak to handmade chile rellenos. Occasionally they will also have live music or shows of some sort, to entertain the guests. South High School uses this venue as the setting for their annual madrigal dinner - medieval food and drink, served to you by students dressed in old-fashioned costumes, serenading you with great music.
