The Riverwalk is by far the most popular tourist attraction in Pueblo; although I'd recommend local museums (the Rosemount, the El Pueblo) before the Riverwalk. Although it's a great place to wander during the spring and summer, when the farmer's markets are going on, the museums are interesting year-round and they're not overly crowded with people. The Nature and Raptor Center along the Arkansas River is another great place to visit. You can rent bikes and bike the trails down there, or take your family and your dogs and just walk. The Coyote Grill is a nice little restaurant right in the middle of the trails, so you can stop and get a bite to eat after your hike.
