Is Pueblo or Pueblo West more geared towards young families?

Pueblo West is much more suburban than Pueblo, and it is also a "planned community." Although the cost of living is higher there, I definitely think it is more family-friendly than the city. However, there's not a lot to do in Pueblo West; it has a few restaurants and bars, but not much. So if you are a young family with kids who like to be involved in the community, the city might be a better option.
