There are several, although they are admittedly quite small. The Damon Runyon Repertory Theater, located on Main St., performs several plays each year. Most these shows are organized by Pueblo's Steel City Players or The Impossible Players, nonprofit organizations made up of local theater-lovers. The Sangre De Cristo Art Center also hosts several productions during the year; some of these are community shows and some are performed by students at the local colleges and high schools. Occasionally CSU will host a program in its Hoag Hall as well.

These stages will also feature burlesque shows from time to time, but ballets are rare.

Overall, Pueblo doesn't have any theaters that rival Denver or Boulder, but if you're in the mood for a fun rendition of Guys and Dolls or Frankenstein, it's always a treat to see what the local players are doing this month.
