Going by the recently released list of 10 best Cincinnati restaurants from Zagat's, the best restaurants in Over-the-Rhine are among some of the best in the Cincinnati area. Those Over-the-Rhine locations that made the list are Abigail Street, Nicola's, and Bakersfield. My personals favorite of those is Nicola's, an Italian eatery with an established presence. Cincinnati Magazine offers up their selection of good eats in their annual "Best Of..." issue. Their 2012 best restaurants also included Nicola's, as well as Senate. Two other Over-the-Rhine restaurants made their best new restaurants list: Abigail Street and a Taste of Belgium. One thing I know for sure is that there are plenty of good dining options in Over-the-Rhine these days.

Trick question...haha! I would say Senate's sister restaurant Abigail St is probably the best. Although I eat at them all, there is an ever changing environment down here with 5 new restaurants slated to open in the next 6 months.....foodie heaven!!

Two of my favorite restaurants in Cincinnati are in OTR--the Senate and A Tavola. The Senate is a great little restaurant that serves unique dishes, including the Lindsay Lohan hot dog (I know) and a wide array of local beer. I really enjoyed dining here because of the location and the delicious food. It's not too pricey and the service was very fast and friendly. A Tavola is a small Italian restaurant that was open within the last year or two. They serve absolutely delicious appetizers and pizzas. They also have a nice bar. One downside to this restaurant is the noise--it's pretty loud inside, so it can be hard to bring a large number of people and have a decent conversation. I recommend both restaurants, though!
