"Good street for tourists to know"

North East 1st Street in Miami runs through downtown, all the way to Biscayne Blvd and the waterfront. It is a busy street, but mostly full of parking, restaurants, hotels, and the Galeria Mall, which is really nice. This is not really a good street for a quiet stroll as it is busy and not very scenic, but with the mall and leading down to Hwy 1 and the Bayfront, it is an ok street to visit.

"A rund-down shopping area"

There area many small stores along this street and between this street and flagler. Some of the stores ahve great deals, but many are for spanish speakers only.
