"Not for most......"

North Massapeqeua is a lower middle-class primarily blue collar area. There are no gyms, decent restaurants, clothing stores, or nightlife for miles. The vast majority of inhabitants are elderly (retired) or middle aged (45+) with some children still at home There are extremely few young growing families here. Professional people are also few and far between.
The "main street", Broadway, is like a Hyundai race track, proceed with extreme caution. To say they drive like lunatics is a compliment. 99% of the cars are total bombs or work vans, not very appealing....Also, don't expect to see a police officer for days, this is the leading reason for the complete disregard for motor vehicle laws on the roads here.

I really see little or no value in relocation to this area unless you are in dire straits for a semi-decent school district. There are nearby areas with more character, visual appeal, and a decent town for the same money.

Oh, did I forget to mention EVERY house is identical for blocks?
