Yes. the schools in the area are very good and getting better. Jose Ortega Elementary has just been remodeled. Our kids went to Commodore Sloat Elementary on Ocean Ave. and it is a great school. The middle school, 5 minutes from Commodore Sloat is Aptos which is nearby just off Ocean, has one of the top Middle School Music programs in SF and the best High School in SF, Lowell High is nearby in Lakeside.
