McKinley Park, Chicago crime - do the locals think there is alot of crime in the neighborhood?

I consider crime in McKinley Park to be fairly limited, and for the most part you're going to be okay. That said, there are a few streets you might want to avoid. You can tell which they are because the buildings look dilapidated. Don't walk around alone at night, but you should be fine most of the time.

There are some areas that are what I would consider 'seedy' but most of the area is pretty safe.
