Right next to the Metra train station and the EL, so downtown Chicago is very accessible.
Right on Maple there are a couple of great places to eat. There's also Century Theater and a great nearby pub.
Moreover, renovations in the street are currently underway to make the sidewalk wider and more people-friendly. Buffalo Wings is about to open in the street.
Evanston Athletic Club is a 1-minute walk from here. Panera Bread is 2 minutes. Radio Shack, LA Fitness, Bank of America and a lot of other great services are within a 5-minute walking distance.
