What is the best place to see local art in Lakewood?

The Lakewood Heritage Center periodically hosts exhibits. Their latest is called "Lens on Lakewood", which is a photography exhibit that gives local residents the opportunity to display examples of everyday life in Lakewood. To find a wider assortment variety, you'd have to go just a little further east on 6th Ave. to the Santa Fe arts district, where you'll find LOTS of great work by local artists. They have an "Arts Walk" every first Friday, where the galleries are all open and serving drinks and appetizers. A lot of people go and it's a lot of fun!
