"Pretty good place to live."

Kirkham Street is a residential street in the Sunset District. There is nothing exceptionally distinct about this street because it’s a typical street in the Sunset. The houses are usually two stories, and become three-story apartments once you reach the inner Sunset. It is very quiet, but very safe to live on Kirkham Street and it’s recommended for families and children. Lawton, a K-8 school, and Francis Scott Key Elementary School are not too far. People tend to keep to themselves here. Unfortunately, you will not get much of nightlife here, and there are essentially no stores on this street, so you’ll always need to get off this street to buy groceries or fill up your car.

"Nothin to see on this street"

This street is a very quiet street, with mostly residential houses. There are not many cars on this street because of its terrible 2-way stops. The 29-bus passes this street on sunset blvd., and the 18 passes it on 46th ave. The inner part of sunset has a school nearby, called Lawton Alternative. It is a K-8 school, and is considerably small. This street is pretty boring, but it is nice and quiet with no trouble anywhere.

"Nothing all that exciting here"

Kirkham street is really quiet and uninteresting street. The houses on this street do not compare to the other houses on streets near by. There are no bus lines that run through it to help people get around and there are no places to eat. The roads there are not that nice and it gets scary at nights with little or no street lights on some streets. Driving on the street one day, I found it to be depressing and wonder; how can anybody live here? Kirkham street is not worth looking visiting because it doesn’t describe the beauty of San Francisco.

"Kirkham Street, the quiet and peaceful street."

I live on Kirkham Street, and personally, Kirkham Street is a great street. Although one may not find anything fun to do on Kirkham Street, it sure is peaceful and quiet. That is one thing that makes Kirkham Street so wonderful. I ride my bike up and down Kirkham Street all the time and I enjoy the scenic view of the beach from up on the hills. Kirkham Street runs from the Great Highway to 4th Avenue and as you make your way towards the Inner Sunset via Kirkham Street, you will pass by Francis Scott Key Elementary School on 43rd Avenue. But take extra caution as you approach Sunset Boulevard, because there is neither a stop sign nor a stoplight. Once Kirkham Street ends at 4th Avenue, it is then transitioned over as Koret Way.

"Very quiet and peaceful"

Kirkham is a very quiet street and is located at the sunset district. There are a couple stores but mostly it’s a housing street. Kirkham doesn’t really have any fun activities going on but if you like to take a walk at night it’s a good place. Kirkham is very long and has only stop signs so if you’re in a rush I suggest you take another street like sunset our 19th. There are no buses our trains running on Kirkham but there are streets near which do but what I like most about this street is that is peaceful and you would never have to be worried of being robbed our jacked.

"Typical Sunset District street that leads to Ocean Beach"

Kirkham Street is a very quiet street that is located in the famous Sunset District. It runs down the avenues starting at roughly 4th avenue all the way out to 48th avenue. I like Kirkham Street because of its frequent 4 way stop intersections so I sometimes take it when I want to leisurely make my way down to the beach. It is pretty flat on this street which is nice to get out and walk around. Irving Street is nearby for some shopping, mostly Asian store, or there is Judah Street which is the home to the N muni line which can take you downtown and beyond. Noriega Street is also popular and close by for good restaurants and a few other stores. Kirkham is a very typical street in the sunset, there isn’t really anything unique about it but at the same time, it isn’t boring.

"Quiet street in the heart of the Sunset!"

Kirkham Street is a relatively quiet street in San Francisco’s Sunset District. The street begins at Ocean Beach near 42nd Avenue and runs all the way to 5th Avenue. Although the street is street is very long and runs through a large portion of San Francisco, there isn’t too much action going on at Kirkham Street. There are no major retail stores. The only restaurant that I can think of is on 11th Avenue and Kirkham which is a Vegetarian Chinese Restaurant. If you are looking for retail and food, you have to walk a block over to Judah Street.

Kirkham is predominantly a strictly housing street. Although the traffic on Kirkham is a little bit heavier than the other normal sunset streets, it isn’t something to be worried about. Housing near Kirkham is valuable as its close to the stores on Judah while being away from all the clutter and commotion.
