"Hawthorne Blvd. and Palos Verdes Drive West"
Hawthorne Boulevard is one of the major streets on the Palos Verdes Peninsula. Hawthorne basically ends at Palos Verdes Drive West in Rancho Palos Verdes. The corner of Hawthorne and PV Drive West is a popular area on the Peninsula. The Golden Cove shopping center is located there. It features a Trader Joe’s, a gas station, a Montessori school, several restaurants, and other small shops. The shopping center also has a Starbuck’s with a terrace to enjoy amazing ocean views. Single family homes as well as a gated community of townhomes are located near the ocean where Hawthorne and PV Drive West meet. Most homes in this area have stunning ocean views. Traffic in this area can be a bit heavy during rush hour. Point Vicente Elementary School serves this area. The ocean cliffs are just a few steps away.
