Yes! Actually, Grand Junction is almost as well known for its biking trails as it is for its wine country. The Colorado River Trail provides bikers with very safe, paved routes that are excellent for beginning bikers. The Kokopelli Trail, the Rimrock Ride, and the routes along the Colorado National Monument are the more intense mountain biking paths. The Kokopelli Trail eventually connects with Moab, making it a multi-day adventure for more experienced bikers. Similarly, the Rimrock Road is a track that takes experienced bikers along cliff roads and through rocky tunnels. The route starts at Devil's Kitchen at the National Monument and makes a 33 mile loop back to its point of origin.
