Are there any unique places to visit in Grand Junction?

Any great scenic views or national monuments? Or even great hole in the wall restaurants a visitor might miss?

You can always go to the historic Main Street and enjoy the public art and the shopping. Grand Junction also features several festivals throughout the year, including "Heard It Through the Grapevine", a summer wine-tasting and music festival. The Wester Colorado Center for the Arts is a great museum to visit if you're looking for a quiet, relaxing day full of culture. And depending on what live performances are showing, a night at the Avalon would be an excellent way to end the evening. :)
