I don't think of Goose Island as a family friendly area, though it's very nice and fun. There are a lot of businesses here, and some bars and things for young professionals. The schools aren't phenomenal, and I don't feel it has the friendliest feel. Not exactly a community area.

Goose Island is a unique neighborhood inhabited by a variety of residents, including families with kids. It's a pretty upscale area near plenty of popular areas, so families will have access to lots of activities.
