"Great Area - Great Environment"

Overall the area is amazing. The shopping area is a good place to be around with the family or friends. On the weekend is always packed just like other areas near shopping centers. There is also Yankee Stadium just in case after you go shopping you want to go watch the game if you have time. The 4 train leaves you right there along with other MTA (Metropolitan Transit Authority) Buses as well. THe hardest thing to get sometimes depending on the time is probably stopping a cab which with my experience is always a struggle there but overall based on everything else it is an awesome place.

Also in additional the new Yankee Stadium is completed. Yay!

"I wish if I can live there so are you"

The place is gorgeous .there is a court and a mall there where you can do shopping or watch a movie. Also a GNC store if you like to bodybuilder .it is very busy area as well and subways are close. The D and 4.but there is 1 trick. The rent is ridiculous so it is hard to afford rent especially if you are on low income

"Business area with surrounding family neighborhood"

Just like the grandconcourse, 161st has been given a grand facelift. This block is where the Bronx Criminal Court House as well as The Bronx Family Court house resides. There is also a Police Precinct and The Bronx Law offices housed there as well. It is a very busy area with lots of local shops and resteraunts. It also has a mini-mall located adjacent of the court house. There are also residencies in the area. Then you can take a stroll down 161st street to River Avenue and get a look at the New Yankee Stadium, a real show case for Bronx residents to be proud of. If I were to open up a business in the Bronx, this is the area that I would want to be in. I think that at this time, this is one of the safest areas to be located in the Bronx.

"Just Drive By"

This is one of the main streets that run into the Bronx area from Manhattan. It stretches over the bridge to take you from the island into the large borough. Since it is such a major street, its first convenience is that it has so many exits leading towards it. It has a mall nearby, and is mainly commercial. One of the downs of this street is that it is best accessible by car, so those of us who have to rely on our feet or public transportation, are a bit out of luck with 161st street. It was where the old Yankee Stadium stood and where the new one is being built. Right now there is a lot of construction going, so my best advice is for now, just drive by.

"Take me out to the ball game"

How do you live up to a legend? How can you compete with a venue where a million dreams were made and a millions hearts were broken? 161 Street was the home of the world famous Yankee Stadium and is also where the club have made the short flit to New Yankee Stadium. With an April opening for the new stadium, no one knows how the club and fans will settle into the new stadium although traditional fans will mourn the death of the former stadium. For sporting fans, the fact that this street now encapsulates the old and the new makes it a fantastic place to visit.

"One of the major streets in the Bronx area."

E 161 street is one of the major streets that run from the tip of the bronx area, to the end of the bridge. There are many exits to this street including exits to the baseball stadium and the local Macombs park. This street is mostly commercial with the local mall close by as well as several chain corner stores and malls.
