"A pleasant, quiet street"

Cook Street is a nice street with older brick buildings and large, beautiful shade trees. Considering it connects to Colfax, the street is quiet with little traffic. City Park is on the north end of the street and offers many things to do. Many of the residents know each other and have lived here for a long time. I was born just a couple of streets away at Mercy Medical Center, which is no longer there. East High School is just west of here, and it is a solid school. I would recommend this area for professionals who work in Denver or at one of the nearby hospitals. Buyer beware though, the homes here are pricey.
Pros
  • nice brick homes
  • large shade trees
Cons
  • expensive

"Excellent quaint residential neighborhood."

Cook Street runs from East Colfax Avenue to the large and lush Denver City Park. It then starts up again on the other side of the park and continues for quite some time. It is very lush and green with tall well developed trees. The houses are very cute and well maintained. It is very close to Mercy Medical Center and many other parks. It is very close to every thing that you will need in Denver such as excellent schools, restaurants, shops, entertainment, hospitals and community services. I highly recommend this area for everyone of all walks of life and ages.
