"Where it's at"

Anyone who is anyone in Miami is here. You can see movie stars and models on the beach or walking down Collins. There is plenty of shopping and eating and night life here. If that is not your thing, the beach is a block away! The street is a bit crowded and busy, but this is the happening place in Miami, the infamous South Beach! There are many hotels and condos to rent or buy if you want to live in the area. Just be prepared to spend a bit more money!

""Great place to retire""

This is a very upscale classic Miami Beach avenue. Several blocks south of Bal Harbor, it is a located near a very posh shopping mall. Around the corner on Harding Ave, are stores, fancy restaurants and all sorts of markets. The famous Shul of Bal Harbor is located right on Collins Ave and 96th St. Collins is lined with hotels, condos and apartments. It is a great place to retire, it is right on the beach, and everything is within walking distance.

"Miami Beach's Heart"

On Collins Avenue, also known as "the strip" to locals, is where you can find the heart of Miami Beach. Collins Avenue is THE oldest paved street in Miami Beach. Collins Avenue is definitely where all the action is happening. You can find the upscale Bal Harbour Shops and the exclusive Essex Hotel. A must see when on the beach!

"Sometimes the Old Becomes New Again"

In the Fabulous Fifties Miami was the true American Riviera. New renovations have made it very fashionable to visit Miami Beach again. Perfect weather a nice beach and fashionable hotels draw vistors to Miami in the 21st century as they did in the 20th century. Just head north of 24th on Ocean Drive your in Miami Beach proper. How sweet it is.

"Live like a Celebrity does"

For some reason when celebs visit Miami they often end up on Collins Ave. I believe the unique combination of small exclusive hotels, resturants and shops make it perfect for a quick private vacation. I also like to mention that my favorite resturant Emeril's Miami Beach is on Collins Avenue. If you want a relatively quiet time and price is no object Collins Ave is for you.
