"Nice Resort Spot"

This has to be home to one of the nicest resorts and conference centers in Santa Cruz. While the street is certainly not residential - it IS on resort premises, after all - it does play host to many day visitors and conferences. There is a full-service spa and a fitness center on-site, as well as hiking trails and a ropes course.

While the amenities are nice, it is the location that really makes this resort stand out. With proximity to the beach and the redwoods, this spot can provide an adventure vacation and a spa retreat simultaneously. The location is nestled away from Highways 1 and 17, but is close enough that it is certainly accessible by car.

Cell phone reception is not perfect, but it is available on resort premises, so long as you stay off of the trails.
