Brookhurst St, Westminster

If you are as adamant about avoiding traffic as much as possible and as much as I am I would highly recommend finding an alternate route through Westminster if you can than taking Brookhurst St. It is an easy way to get through the city and there are a number of eateries to try out and shopping centers to visit along the way. Much of the congestion on this street has to do with the heavy traffic lights and the stop and go traffic of the commercial retail areas. You’ll find predominantly Asian residents and businesses in this area since it’s also referred to by Orange County natives as “Little Saigon”. Once you can overlook the pile up of traffic you may encounter Brookhurst St. can take you through some nice areas of Westminster. A popular late night hangout used to be near McFadden Ave. and Brookhurst. The 24 hour Mexican food restaurant called Alerto’s had some of the best chimichangas and burrito platters for your money which is always a plus no matter who you are. Ever since I can remember this major street running through Westminster is a heavily traveled road and to this day seems like it will always be.
