Is there a good, romantic restaurant in Boulder?
My husband and I are having an anniversary soon and it would be nice to go somewhere different.

Flagstaff House is THE place to be on Valentine's Day and easily the fanciest place in Boulder. It is up on Flagstaff (one of the foothill mountains) and they create remarkable meals. The views are phenomenal as you are perched on a mountain overlooking the city. It is spendy, but makes for a memorable romantic meal. I've only been there once, it was for Valentine's Day and my now husband waited until the month before or something to make reservations. They were able to squeeze us in at 10pm! The links above are for my two favorite Italian places in Boulder. Bacco is a little off the beaten path North of Boulder but I absolutely love their menu! Arugula is just as wonderful but a little closer to central Boulder!

I love Sherpa's, it is ran by Nepali Sherpas and the house is an old victorian that makes a really different and romantic place to get dinner. The outdoor patio on the warmer nights is a little garden paradise and is very sweet, and yummy!

It is Nepali so its mellow Indian-like food: curries, rice, lentils, samosas. I like Aloo Gobi (curry that is slightly spicey with potatoes and cauliflower) and there is the warm nan bread for dipping in. There are also great lamb curries or chicken curry dishes.
