"lots of apartments, close to train"

I am most familiar with 85th St north of Roosevelt. In this area, there are lots of apartment complexes that are fairly affordable. This is a quiet, tree lined street with sidewalks that make it a nice area to walk in. This is a safe area in central Queens, I would recommend it for apartment living. It runs close to several train stops for easy (but still fairly long) commutes to Manhattan.
