5400 South, Murray

5400 S is a main road that takes you all the way out to Kearns, from I-15. Its has recently been widened and traffic flows much more smoothly now than just a few years ago. Much of 5400 S is lined with run down stripmalls, and thrift shops. Not the nicest area of the city, but is a relatively safe place to visit. Overall, theres not much for a tourist to see or do in this part of town.

This area is in the area of a residential neighborhood. There are many schools nearby including a High School and Middle School. A few convenient stores are nearby as well as the few restaurants.
Just a stones throw away is the Kearns Recreation Center which holds many events during the summer and winter.
Becareful at this intersection it can be very busy!
