"Great shopping and transit."
This street is one of the best in Kirkland for amenities. It is a smaller arterial road running past lots of local essentials. Nearby are shopping, hospitals, grocery stores, gas stations, bus stops, park-and-ride, and several restaurants.
It is not necessarily a great residential street because of the traffic and bus routes. There are several streets that intersect 116th which are well planted, quiet, and still have great access.
The noise level is high due to I-405, traffic, and bus routes. It is very nice to have so many amenities in one area. Even with the high population and travel traffic, it is still well maintained, well planted, and clean.
