"Beautiful Homes Near Campus"

Farrand Road is a sparsely populated street, with nice homes and a few doctors’ offices. I like the look and feel of most streets in Princeton as they tend to be pretty, clean, and well-maintained. Farrand Road, though less interesting and trafficked as other nearby streets does have a lot to offer the more mature and established resident of Princeton. It is nearby campus and Marquand Park and is off Old Post Road, a convenient street. All in all, Farrand Road, though small and somewhat limited, is a wonderful street on which to live and to call home for any family.

"Quaint Street in a Beautiful Town"

Hibben Road is a short street linking thoroughfares of Mercer and Stockton. Situated off of the 206 and very close to Princeton University, this street is a nice one to know when making your way to campus. Otherwise, is it punctuated with modest homes and because it is so close to the other more populated streets, this is a nice place to live. I like the ambiance of Princeton and in comparison with other cities in Jersey, I would say it’s one of the prettiest. It maintains a certain New England feel that is somehow lost throughout the rest of the Garden State. Hibben Road with nearby Marquand Park and the beautiful campus of Princeton is a wonderful street to know when visiting this quaint town.

"Close to the University"

Armour Road is a nice street. I liked the homes here as well as how close it was to Stockton Road, a main thoroughfare in Princeton and one block off of the University. This street is affected by the University population, as is most of this proud town. Princeton University is one of the most prestigious academic institutions in the world, having been the foregrounds of such prolific thinkers as Albert Einstein. One word I use to describe Armour Road and Princeton as a whole is “intelligent” and the homes are smartly designed, traffic seemed to never jam, and people were laid-back yet aware. Armour Road would be the perfect place to live if you’re thinking about living in Princeton and want to be close to the University. Also, when in the neighborhood, check out Marquand Park!

"Close to What you Need"

Allison Road is a mainly residential street. Although it doesn’t have much to offer in terms of dining or entertainment, it is a nice street to live on as the homes are well-kept, the street is very clean and scenic, and the people here are friendly. An important part of finding a good location is outlining what you like to do and finding a good place to nest that is within a fair distance of places that host the activities you’re interested in. Allison Road would be a good street to live on if one likes solitude, but doesn’t want to have to drive 45 minutes to go to the grocery store. Close to the University and to Stockton Street and Hwy 206, Allison Road would be a perfect place to live.

"A Curvy Street"

Hunt Drive is a very simple curvy street, filled with trees, pleasant homes, a nice ambiance. The street is clean and well-maintained with old homes lining the street. I think that this is a great place to live if you’re thinking of moving to the Princeton area, mainly due to its proximity to other more convenient streets, such as Lawrence Drive. As other streets are more bustling with activity, Hunt Drive is a nice short street to call home, and with parks, recreational centers, and other perks nearby, this would be a great place for families and retirees to live on.

"A Wonderful Winfield"

Winfield Road is a part of the larger Winfield a winding residential street in Princeton. This street is gorgeous and is surrounded by trees. The homes here are expensive and expansive, as can be said for many homes in this neighborhood. Princeton, being a college town, does have a much younger population, but the more established residents tend to live further off from campus, where the homes have more square footage and there is less traffic. This would be a wonderful town for those affiliated and not affiliated with the university to reside, as it is scenic and filled with friendly people. Though this street is lacking in terms of entertainment, the nearby thoroughfares have much more to offer. All in all, this is a great street to live on.

"An Oasis for those who still want Proximity"

North Road is a pretty residential street surrounded by trees. The homes in this neighborhood are modest, and though this street isn't as exciting as the streets throughout the city, you'll be happy to find a nice ambiance here. On major perk of North Road is vicinity. Mountain Lake Park is nearby, and with walking paths and ponds, this scenic escpae is a wonderful feature of this neighborhood. Also, on nearby Pretty Brook Road, there is a tennis club. North Road's connectivity make it a nice oasis from the more hectic areas of town.

"Pretty Brooks in Pretty Princeton"

Pretty Brook Road is a mainly residential street in the quiet city of Princeton, New Jersey. Though this street is lacking in entertainment, it is not in terms of traditional fare, namely homes, beautiful trees, and a calm and down to earth feeling. This is one of the prettier streets in this neighborhood, and is home to the Pretty Brook Tennis Club. As with most New England clubs and sports facilities, membership is somewhat exclusive, though the space offers a variety of wonderful offerings. I think that this would be a great street to live on or to visit, as Princeton is one of the prettier cities in New Jersey.

Rosedale Road is a wonderful and dynamic street in Princeton. The YMCA is on this street which is a great place to get a cheap and comprehensive gym membership. On this street, you'll also find the Credit Union of New Jersey and the Johnson Park Day School. The Chauncey Conference Center is also popular with tennis courts and private meeting rooms. "Calm and Comfortable"

Russell Road is filled with doctor's offices and is not the most exciting street in the city. I think that this would be a nice location to live on with the University nearby as well as more interesting and dynamic streets. The homes on this street are average and the people are friendly. This street is more mature than streets nearby, given that the University tends to infiltrate generally every aspect of living in this town. All in all, I think that this would be a nice place to live if you're looking to relocate to a calmer town.

"Are You Feeling Ill?"

If you are, Ewing Street is the place to be. This street is filled with doctor's offices and private practices ranging from optometry to ear, nose, and throat. Other than that, this street isn't all that remarkable. North Harrison Street has a lot more to offer in the way of entertainment, and Princeton, being the great town it is, has so much to offer, it's ok if one street is a dud.

You shouldn't expect much from this street. It’s mainly residential and really has nothing to offer in the way of great food. If you’re looking for somewhere to live, however, this place could be considered on account of its accessibility with more interesting streets nearby. "Not As Cool As Nearby Street"

Similar to other streets in this area, this is mainly residential. Typically, the restaurants and shopping runs on the Avenues, while the streets are reserved for housing and leisure. I enjoyed this street in wonderful Princeton and thought it was pretty, though I’m not sure it would be all that desirable for a long term living situation. The Westminster Choir College is nearby, and there, you will be able to find more interesting fare.

"Save Your Milk Money"

Did your parents ever tell you that you could buy whatever you wanted to with your allowance? Well, many kids also saved their milk money to buy something special for themselves, an after school treat after a long hard days work of recess and coloring. A children's clothing store on this street, Milk Money, pays homage to the simpler days of childhood. This is a great store, though it is very expensive, popular amongst the wealthier yuppie residents of Princeton. North Tulane Street is a mainly commercial street near Princeton University, and a nice picture of the demographic makeup of the town. The metro is extremely far away from this street, so it might be hard to navigate without a car or knowledge of the intricate NYC bus system.

"Nothing Going Down"

Earhart Lane is a short street bordering a parking lot. It was unattractive without anything going on. With no businesses, real housing, or restaurant, this street was simply an alley way to Erskine Place, Earhart Lane's much more exciting neighbor. The one perk is that its near to Pelham Bay Park, so you might come to it when you're walking to the Bay Plaza Shopping Center also nearby.

Erskine Place was somewhat surprising to me with its activity and offerings. There were small stores with great clothes, many service businesses, and professional offices on this street, not to mention being adjacent to Pelham Bay Park. This neighborhood is great and the street with its view of the park was amongst liveliest... not mention one of the cleanest!

Stillwell Avenue is a bustling street in the Bronx, New York. This street has a bit of something for everyone. First, car repair. This street alone houses 5+ mechanics shops. Second, food. With cheap greasy food available at pretty much every step, your diner cravings will not go unquenched on Stillwell Avenue. Third, wonderful people. This neighborhood is filled with a comradery and sense of neighborhood pride unmatched by nearby streets. Stillwell Avenue merges into the Pelham Parkway North, and there you can find the MTA 5 train.

This is a great street in the Bronx! It has just about everything on it that one would need ranging from daycares to law offices to nightclubs to convenience stores. Other areas of the Bronx seem kind of cold to outsiders, but this section is great for both its residents and its visitors. Transportation on this street is no problem with the nearest subway located at Gun Hill Road only 2 blocks away. This is a great street and one to remember when thinking about the Bronx.

"Lacking the Pizazz of the other Streets in the Bronx"

Morgan Avenue is filled with lots of little businesses and doesn't really have a lot to offer. I looked for restaurants and other common sights of interest, but there was really nothing. The streets nearby are a little more fun, though I think that this section of the Bronx lacks the pizazz the other sections have to offer. If you're a family person, however, this is a perfect section for you because this is definitely a family neighborhood filled with both the young and the old. Accessibility is somewhat limited and most people on street have cars or depend on buses rather than on the train for travel within the Bronx.

"Near The River"

Summit Avenue on the Harlem River in the Bronx, New York is a nice street that is well connected and a nice place to live in this busy borough. This neighborhood is filled with various medical offices and small service oriented buildings as well as a few parks. The housing on this street is somewhat undesirable however and the streets nearby tend to be a bit more upkept. Dining can be done on the nearby streets as Summit Avenue is mainly residential. Transportation to and from this street is fairly easy with the Major DEegan Expressway nearby, as well as several buses and the 4, B, & D trains on nearby 161st next to the Yankee Stadium. This is a nice street and could be one considered if you're thinking of moving to the Bronx.

Another great street in the best borough around, Brooklyn's Pierrepont Street is a nice street with the accessibility of the metro and the rest of Brooklyn. I like Brooklyn, I like the vibe, and it really has been cleaned up over the past 10 years. Beyond those services, however, Bivona Street didn't really have much to offer in terms of entertainment, something that you might be able to find more readily on streets nearby. With many small businesses, churches, and restaurants, this street has constant traffic, but perhaps not constant fun. There are a lot of construction businesses on this street, which seemed a little strange, but it made me realize a trend that I had never noticed. In the uptown areas, many small businesses are in heavy competition, and sign-age and the way the store is maintained has a lot to do with business. What better way to compete than to be right next door to the competition, showing them up on clientele or quality of the store. Very good tactic, indeed.

"On Chester Street"

Chester Street is an average street without a whole lot going on. You'll find some housing options but nothing too desirable. In my opinion there are more attractive streets in the city to live on, though this neighborhood is fairly convenient.

"On Grace Avenue"

Grace Avenue has its name for a reason. There’s a lot going on on this street. This is a really nice place to live or to work, and with the ease of the commute fro, you’ll find this area to be quite agreeable. I will say having a car in this neighborhood is probably ideal if you have a family!

"On Ely Avenue"

Ely Avenue is a prime place in the Bronx to live. This neighborhood was also fairly lively and filled with activity, a wonderful place for a young couple or someone new to the city entirely. Living in the Bronx definitely has its perks, and this neighborhood is really part of the reasoning behind it. It’s easily accessed by buses, though having a car here might be the best thing for someone with a family. All in all, a nice street in the Bronx.

"On Lodovick Avenue"

Lodovick Avenue isn’t much of anything. You won’t find much in the way of anything on this South Bronx street. Though it wasn’t really a sight for sore eyes, this street was calm and nicely populated, and I didn’t feel that I could make a home here, though there isn’t much in the way of food and exciting things to do. You’ll have to go to the next street for that kind of fun.

"On Westervelt Avenue"

With many small business, churches, and restaurants, this street has constant traffic, but perhaps not constant fun. I think that this would be a nice street to live on, though it seems that there are a lot of run down places on this block without a lot of wherewithall to fix anything up. I wasn’t impressed with the upkeep, but I was impressed by some of the delightful people I met who ran the shops and stores on this street. Good atmosphere.

"On Bantam Place"

Another street with convenience designed for the residents, Bantam Place, is quite simply home to many people. There is nothing remarkable here, and as landmarks and sights tend to dwindle as you climb further uptown, there seems to be an overall lack of things to do in terms of a touristy nature. For the residents, however, I thought that the street must be acclaimed for its convenience and overall nice vibe. All in all, a nice street for those that live there.

"On Kingsland Avenue"

This short street in the Bronx wasn’t really all that impressive. It was mainly residential and the residences weren’t all that great to look at. All in all, it was an average street on an average block. For more convenience, I suggest that you try something nearby. There always seemed to be people on the street and places to go. I wish there were more parks in the East Bronx, however

"On Eastchester Avenue"

A variety of businesses line this street, though there isn’t much in the way of “a lot of fun.” This is what I refer to as a residentially convenient street, with various goods and services being offered to the people who live in the neighborhood, but to an outsider, it’s not worth the trek. These things can be found in your neighborhood. Fortunately, everything is compact. In New York City, you’re wise to know that food runs on the avenues, not on the streets, so for lunch, you should try a nearby street

"On Gunther Avenue"

Not interested by this South Bronx street. I wasn’t very impressed. I didn’t think that it was nice to look at and thought that because the streets around it were relatively convenient, that it would also house the same benefits, but I was sadly mistaken. This may not be the place for the NYC culture you were searching for, but there’s definitely a good vibe here.

"On Knapp Street"

With many small businesses, churches, and restaurants, this street has constant traffic, but perhaps not constant fun. I think that this would be a nice street to live on, though it seems that there are a lot of run down places on this block without a lot of wherewithal to fix anything up.

"South Oak Drive"

You’ll find a lot of things nearby this street, but nothing but housing on it. I think that this is a nice street, but is one of those that may or may not be considered in “New York City”. As you may know, Manhattan and 5 boroughs encompass the massive expanse known as NYC, but there are some streets that are borderlines. This could be considered one of them, as the quality of life and many other things shift in this neighborhood.

Here, you’ll find several small businesses and things to do, though there isn’t really much in the way of fun. Of course, as with any city, you have residential areas and you have commercial areas. Generally, boroughs are a mix of both, but this neighborhood is mainly residential.
