East 223rd St, Edenwald

This area is a bit run down and is definitely not a place I would recommend for living options. The nearby streets capture most of what’s going on in this neighborhood, as this street is mainly residential and is not all that exciting. There are a few small business and things of that nature, but not much to write home about.

It seems that every street in the Bronx has a church, and on Sunday, each one is filled with worshipers. It’s nice to see that the faith is still alive in a neighborhood that by many is considered economically poor. I think it is rich with culture and the people are affluent with the knowledge that is the city. If you walk into any business and ask a question, don’t be surprised to receive a 5 minute diatribe on how things “used to be.” I enjoyed this street and the people there, though a trip here may not be worth on your first visit to NYC.
