"Clean, Colorful, and Green"
E. 236th Street only covers a few blocks but from what I observed traveling down it one day is that it is mainly clean with some home built around different colors. This makes the neighborhood colorful to a degree. And what really struck my fancy was all the greenery around. Very nice, especially in the fall weather.
It is definitely place to visit and live here if you like a lot of greenery. There's no schools on the block, so the kids may have to find one a few blocks away. This is why I am not recommending the area to kids for that purpose.

"East 236th Street"
This street is really just a thoroughfare and there isn’t much to offer in the way of food or things to do. Perhaps you’d just enjoy the quiet simplicity, though I think this is a little too far for commuting to work each day

"East 236th Street"
There are many conveniences on this street as well as friendly people and overall comfort and ease to the street. I liked how friendly the people were, and ready and able they were to serve you in the stores, and the unpretentiousness of the people on the streets. All in all it was a very good street, but not really worth a climb into the Bronx, though other people might disagree.
