Is it safe for a single white girl?

Personally, I wouldn't feel safe there. Maybe it's because I'm a frail Northsider (lol), but the only south side places I really feel safe are Pilsen, Bridgeport, Hyde Park, and the Kenwood areas. Also, there's so much more to do in those areas. I mean, I don't think West Pullman is an awful place to live, but one wrong turn can get you into some pretty sketchy areas. And if you're new to Chicago, that's bound to happen.
