"A beautiful small town of Vienna"
I am most proud of spending the first 10 years of my life in this small town of Vienna. Being able to walk in the streets and feeling safe was an added bonus, as there were no sidewalks back then. People say hi when you walk by. My mother and dog would walk me to Greenmont Elementary every morning. People would stop what they were doing just to wave hello. A very friendly and happy town. Vienna is on the outskirts of Parkersburg. I used to play at my father's auto shop which sat on a red brick road looking at the Ohio River. I remember the streets near my house were white with goopy black tar. If I had a family, this would be one place I would love to raise my children. I know one day I will return to this town to settle down and this time, I'll be the one waving to the mother's with children on their way to school.
