"Home town like feeling"

Pineapple Street is a small residential road in Brooklyn. The street is quite and pleasant. Big apartments and houses cover the canvas of this street. Accommodation is easily available at affordable prices. Spice market restaurant is quite close to Pineapple Street and you can get the best of food in pleasant ambiance and environment only at this place. By far it was the best restaurant near Pineapple Street. The street is calm and preferable for a nice evening stroll or a bicycle ride.

"Nice, friendly neighborhood"

The street is more of an open space rather than a lush green one. The buildings at corners are huge and consist of three to four storeys. People can walk without much of traffic hassles. The street is not as populated as other streets in Brooklyn. One can find many old buildings and establishments over here. One thing I liked about it is the wide footpaths made for pedestrians to walk on. There is also a playground and a fashion institute located on Franklin Street.

"what a wonderful street"

I have a personal opinion that Vanderbilt is one of the best streets in Brooklyn, New York. The place is absolutely clean and spacious. Skyscrapers and huge buildings are a part of this street but space is taken care of. Street is wide and places or locations are easily accessible. The Bishop Loughlin Memorial high school is a famous building here. Food is just lovely and healthy. Living conditions are also fine with cheap accommodation available.

"Food is healthy and good"

From the Flatbush Avenue, BMT line is the most convenient way to get to the Dekalb Avenue. I had been there only for a weekend and it was okay. After looking around to get a feel of the place I felt hunger powering my belly and therefore decided to step in some restaurant. I entered the Ruthies restaurant. The aroma was so appetizing that I felt tasting all of the delicacies available but due to lack of cash in pocket I helped my self with a fried fish fillet.

"Live and happening"

The street is happening throughout the year. There are lot of things to do from, shopping to dancing away at clubs and parties. The street begins at Flushing avenue and its end point converges to Emmons avenue. You will not have to spend a lot of money on this street. Goods and grocery stuff are sold at cheap rates and affordable rates. Kennedy Fried Chicken is the place if you have a taste for chicken delicacies. 'Culpeppers' is also a hygienic food store.

"Shoppers dominate this place"

Shopping is the extensive activity on Manhattan Avenue. The street runs through Green point in Brooklyn. The street is mostly covered with locals who come here for shopping purposes. Along Manhattan Avenue, major part is covered with skyscrapers and offices. The IND cross town station is a popular mode of transport here and supplementary to it local buses and cabs are also available. You can get any product at a cheaper rate if you’re good at bargaining. Discounts are available throughout the year.

"Best for family vacation"

The street in particular is covered with entertainment and landmark sites. One can spend one whole evening at Prospect Park enjoying the scenes by the Prospect Lake or playing on the huge stretch of lawns spread over the area. You can get on this street via the Atlantic avenue. Transport is not at all a concern as you can either walk on ride a bicycle on free ways. There are some beautiful architectured housing areas available at high costs. But still I managed to get cheap accommodation. Golden Krust and Mc Donalds were absolutely great and enjoyed stuff there.

"coolest place in Brooklyn"

As much as I’ve experienced, the street is rich for its cultural diversities. There is an intermix of different social and ethnic way of life. The fact that it being the longest street in Brooklyn can also be one of the reason for this diverse effect. The street carries foundations of some huge buildings and commercial establishments. Bedford also has some great food stuff at places like ‘New York Muffins Corner, Verb Café, etc. I also bought my self some cool clothes and a leather handbag from Williamsburg.

"Pleasant lively neighborhood"

Bay Park way is street in Brooklyn running between Ocean parkway and bay parkway. It is not a major street here but is quite important one in its locality. Living on the street is not at all troublesome as facilities like restaurants, schools, groceries; general stores are readily accessible here. The Bay park way station is the closest and by far the cheapest means of transport available here. Dining experience was great at an Indian restaurant ‘Stir It Up’. Their ‘curry chicken’ was indeed a delicacy with yellow rice.

"Chirpy and fun filled surroundings"

The street is not the one like high end shopper’s one but simply a street for locals. Anywhere on the street you will come across painters, artisans and musicians displaying pieces of their artwork in order to get some monetary gain. Unlike other streets in New York, there are mosques and other places of Arabic interests. In one of the stores there were beautifully woven carpets. I bought my self a small carpet rug souvenir for pleasant memories. The other side of the street is a picture of huge buildings and establishments, some of which are administrative and educational. The street hosts a fair, known as Atlantic Antic. Here you will get a variety of art works and displays of antiques.
