"Convenient Place to Live"

Madison Avenue is a good place to live. It offers close access to both the West Shore Expressway and the Staten Island Expressway. Furthermore it offers a family friendly environment for families and children. Houses are seemingly middle class and in good shape. There is a good mix of multi family homes and single family homes which accommodate all types of people. This is a good place for any middle class family to start a family.

"Great Place to Live or Visit"

This is a great place to either live or just go and visit. Filled with beautiful water front or water view homes, this street also offers a variety of restaurants as well as a beautiful marina. When I go to Mansion Avenue I feel as though I am in a quaint New England fishing town. It is also located right near Great Kills Park. This street is truly an escape.

"Tough Place to Live"

Jersey Street is not what you would call a nice place to live. I would not recommend this place for families. The neighborhood is relatively dirty with visible crime on the streets. I have even been solicited by a prostitute on this street during my morning commute! Other than that, this street does offer a lot of affordable housing with mostly apartments, and co-ops.

"Beautiful Spot on Staten Island"

This road sports some of the nicest and ritziest homes on Staten Island. Near two great colleges, Howard Avenue is a true diamond in the ruff. Almost all of the streets on this home overlook the Hudson River and Lower Manhattan. It is important to note that this area is extremely wealthy so it is not for your average family. Nevertheless, this is a beautiful spot.

"A Diverse Place to Live"

St. Marks place is certainly a diverse place to live. It sports many types of ethnic groups in a nice water front part of Staten Island. It has great property value and has great access to churches, restaurants, and night life. Parking on this street can be difficult but it is conveniently located near a variety of churches and schools. I would not recommend this street for anyone but singles. This is so because there is just not a lot of space for families moving in.

"Pretty Place to Live"

Bay Terrace is a nice and quiet little street located on the North Shore of Staten Island. This is a very small road that is conveniently located close to the train which makes for easy access to public transportation. This street is family friendly and sports pretty and moderately priced houses. I would recommend this street to live on.

"Great Place for Families"

Barclay Avenue is a clean and quiet street that is like a little oasis within Staten Island. Located on the South shore of the island, this street offers a great place for families looking for a more suburban feel within an urban setting. The street is home to a lot of different types of people that are both elderly and young. This is a beautiful street with nice, moderately priced homes.

"Be Careful Here- The Good and the Bad"

While Clove Road offers lots of retailers and conveniences, there are a lot of drawbacks to this road as well. First off all, there is a tremendous amount of construction going on and the traffic is horrible. Also, the road is in terrible shape and has a lot of twists and turns. With that said, the road sports a lot of beautiful parks and golf clubs as well as office, restaurants and shops.

"Everything You Need"

Richmond Terrace is a gateway to lots of fun things to do on Staten Island. It offers lots of shopping, restaurants and bars, along with beautiful views of the Hudson River. The street is pretty clean and usually not to congested compared to some other places on Staten Island. I would buy on this street at it has a lot to offer families and consumers alike.

"Not a place to Go"

Westervelt Avenue really has nothing on it at all. It is grimy and the condition of the road is in terrible shape. The neighborhood around it is pretty much dilapidated and it is only on street away from Jersey Street which is not good at all. The street is very narrow and very congested and you always feel like your going to hit parked cars and pedestrians. I don’t feel that this is a good place for kids to place for this very reason. The street, though, is located close to the ferry so it gives good access to Manhattan.
