"Home of a great inexpensive golf course"

Out amongst the rolling hills west of Dayton there isn't much here other than farmland and a few houses. There is however Larch Tree Golf Course. I spent a few summers here as a youngster and it's a great place. They have a restaurant, and the people were super nice. I even met some of the people living in houses on the course. Too bad I had to put a ball through their window to get them out though :-)

"Impressed by the improvements!"

I used to live right around here and it had become sort of run down and shady, but after a recent visit I was pleasantly surprised. They had opened some new storefronts and brought in some small town college feel (keeping lone time favorites like Second Time Around) along with some well placed nationals like Starbucks. If you visit the UD campus make sure to take a walk up Brown Street.

"One Word, scarry"

Well, it's a good thing there is a hospital close by here. Salem Ave isn't a place you want to be caught alone at night. On the bright side there are lots of pawn shops if you need to get a gun or sell some jewelry for cash, and no shortage of fast food restaurants with inch thick glass separating you from the employees!

"Small town with not a lot to offer."

If you want to live in a small out of the way town this just might be the place for you. It's really not all that bad. Close enough to some bigger cities (Columbus, and Cincy) so if you want to go out for a night on the town you aren't more than an hour or so from either. There really isn't much to do in the town itself though other than watch NASCAR and get drunk.
