"A neighborhood near some great open spaces"

Side Creek is a neighborhood located near a lot of open space on the eastern edge of Aurora. Because of this, there is a peaceful feeling about the neighborhood. There isn't much traffic this far out and the homes are all nicely taken care of. Some people may not want to live in this neighborhood as it's so close to Buckley Air Force Base. This is a base that is home to many of the fighter jets and they conduct their training out of this facility. Because of this, there can be a lot of noise from jets overhead. If you love planes, especially these kinds, this may be an ideal place to call home. It all depends on whether or not you enjoy the sound they make, which can be loud.

While there isn't much shopping or dining really close, you can access both within a 10 minute drive. This is also a good location for anyone who may travel out of the airport frequently as it's close to both the tollway and I-70.

Schools in this neighborhood are about average when it comes to state testing standards. There are numerous sports for kids to play, and the high school here (Rangeview) has a nice indoor pool as well as outdoor tennis courts. The neighborhood is mainly made up of single family homes, and there are a lot of kids in the area.
