"Attractions for everyone"

Rutledge Hill

Rutledge Hill is primarily a business district, and parts of it, quite frankly, don’t look great. (We’re talking sagging chain link fences and the like.) But some of the attractions here are well worth the trip.

Nestled down on Middleton, for example, is the Nashville Children’s Theatre, the oldest professional children’s theatre in the country. The NCT keeps a busy schedule of programs going. In addition to their astounding theatrical productions, they run a steady stream of classes, workshops, and camps throughout the year.

Rutledge Hill does, of course, also have various bars and music venues that you will want to check out. MTA buses 6, 12, and 44 all run through this area

"A Busy Neighborhood near Downtown."

The area of Rutledge Hill is populated with residents of Nashville who are looking to live in one of the up coming condo buildings being built in downtown Nashville. Many of the residents who are looking to give up their homes for a slice of heaven in one of the condos being built are enjoying life in the many new high rises in downtown.

The apartment buildings and condo buildings that are in Rutledge Hill are among some of the more affordable condo apartments of Nashville. The area is home to numerous residents who are looking to start a life in the music city. The area has a large variety of stores to choose from as well as businesses that will keep you busy shopping all hours of the day.

The area is not to far away from the shopping district of second avenue and downtown. Many of the businesses on second ave are restaurants and music stores all offering a small slice of music city. There are a number of businesses that just received a new makeover thanks to the flood of Nashville that took place on May 1st, 2010. For several weeks after May 1st, the businesses in this area of town were shut down while they participated in drying out from the flood waters and from having to rebuild their shops.

"Great upclose view of Nashville downtown"

Rutledge Hill was one of the first downtown areas to build trendy condo/apartment buildings and also rehab historical buildings for residential/business use.

Take a drive down 2nd Ave. So., towards downtown, and you will gasp at the beautfiul upclose view of the skyline. And the condo prices there aren't too bad, some starting as low as $139,000.

It is very close to the wonderful club 3rd and Lindsley and the infinite number of clubs/restaurants downtown. Seems to me like a lot of bang for the buck.
