"Not to far from TSU and Meharry Medical College"

The area of Hadley and Washington is not to far from the 28th Avenue area of Nashville. The area is one of the first African American neighborhoods of all Nashville. There are mostly lower income homes in the area and this is ideal for first time home buyers who are looking to make a first home purchase. If you are interested in renting in the area, the rent is pretty affordable with most homes being rented for less than 500 a month plus utilities.

The Hadley and Washington area is not to far away from the Tennessee State University area. Close to interstate 40 and Jefferson Street, the area is home to many college students who are looking to live close to the college without having to actually live on campus. The area is quite busy during the summer months since Hadley Park is where a number of students will play throughout the day as well as the community center that offers a number of different activities aimed at keeping children busy and out of trouble.

The Meharry Medical School is not far away and if you are looking for a place to sit down and eat, there are a number of restaurants in the area to enjoy. If fast food is what you are looking for, there is a Wendy’s nearby as well as other fast food restaurants. The Citizens Bank is not to far away which can be important on those days when you need to run to the bank.
