"St. Anthony Homes & Real Estate"

The city of St. Anthony is located eight miles northwest of downtown St. Paul. The University of Minnesota Minneapolis and St. Paul campuses is about a ten minute far from St. Anthony while the city is accessible through Highway 10 using the Silver Lake Road, Highways 280 and 88 using the same road, and via I-35W. Although the city enjoys its close proximity to two major downtown areas, it still maintains the quaintness and calm ambiance of a small community making it an ideal place to live in.
One of the many reasons why St. Anthony is unique is because the many wonderful things it can offer. There is the amazing Silver Lake, a number of parks, hiking and bike trails, the Francis A. Gross Public Golf Course, and a highly independent K-12 school district. The communities around St. Anthony are New Brighton to the northeast, Columbia Heights to the northwest, Roseville situated at the east, and Minneapolis to the south.
St. Anthony is a very interesting place filled with history and mesmerizing stories. In the 1950’s, the very first strip mall in Minnesota was built in the city and it was called the St. Anthony Shopping Center. Incidentally, the shopping complex was funded by the Batista family who ruled Cuba before Fidel Castro took the reins from them. The city of St. Anthony was honored as early as the 70’s as one of the very first communities that recycled their garbage.
The schools that service St. Anthony are the St. Anthony Village School for grades 9 to 12, St. Anthony Middle School for grades 6 to 8, and the Wilshire Park elementary School as the district’s primary school. For recreation, there are several parks operated by the city and this includes Central Park which is situated near the center of the city. School athletic contests are usually held at Central Park. There are smaller parks within the city such as Trillium Park, Silver Point Park, and Emerald Park. For sports enthusiasts, there is a golf course maintained and operated by the Minneapolis Parks and Recreation Board.
St. Anthony is your entry point to the waterfront of the Minneapolis River. The family would truly enjoy going through the St. Anthony Main complex which is filled with restaurants, movie theaters, shops, and lots of family-oriented events. You can also explore the entire 150 acres of parkland starting from the Stone Arch Bridge to Boom Island. St Anthony is truly the best place for you and the entire family.
Discover the many wonders of St. Anthony including the historic St. Anthony Falls. An amazingly healthy and vibrant community awaits you if you decide to live in this amazing city.
stewb
stewb St Anthony Main and St Anthony Falls are miles away and have NOTHING to do with St. Anthony Village, BTW. I grew up in New Brighton and have lived in St Anthony for 16 years. St Anthony is horribly overpriced and over taxed. We are being overrun with overpaid / under-worked white people with kids and money to burn.
