"Delano - West of the Cities"

Delano is a wonderful town about 45 minutes west of Minneapolis of Hwy 12/394. It is more rural than many area but if your dream is to have a farm, hobby farm or just a couple acres for privacy then this is the place. Delano has a growing downtown with much of what you need. They have a great school district with plenty of activities to keep kids busy. It is definitely a slower pace there but I think that's a good thing. A great option for those looking for more of a country setting.
